‘Risk Management and Climate Crisis’ : Workshop with speakers Ioannis Dokas, RiskAC’s Coordinator, and Kostas Houvardas, Director of the Civil Protection Department οf the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace

The Geotechnical Chamber of Thrace, the Civil Protection Directorate of the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace and the Democritus University of Thrace organized a workshop entitled: ‘Risk Management and Climate Crisis’ on Friday 8 December 2023 in Hall C. On Friday, 2023, the event was held in the hall of the former Prefecture of Pavlidis.

The role of new technologies”, Kostas Houvardas, Head of the Civil Protection Directorate for the Region of the ASS.

During the workshop, the issue of risk management in the context of the changes brought about by the climate crisis was analysed, as well as the ways in which Thrace should adapt, both in terms of infrastructure and civil protection.
