Completion of Phase A of the CLIMAAX project in the Municipality of Xanthi

Phase A of the CLIMAAX project in the Municipality of Xanthi has been completed with the submission of the first deliverable. This deliverable includes the assessment and mapping of the city’s climate risks, using the methods and tools of the CLIMAAX Manual. The Risk and Resilience Assessment Center (RiskAC) undertook the application of the methodology and the scientific analysis of the data, identifying the areas, infrastructure, and populations most at risk from phenomena such as heat waves, floods, fires, and storm winds. At the same time, information is provided to support targeted adaptation measures, prioritize interventions, and optimize resource management, contributing to long-term urban resilience and sustainable development of the city.
