The Risk and Resilience Assessment Centre (RiskAC) is an innovative research infrastructure established at Democritus University of Thrace. Our mission is to enhance desicion-making processes in both prevention and response to natural and technological disasters. 

Founded through the “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation 2014-2020” Operational Programme, RiskAC represents a collaborative effort of approximately 80 experienced and young researchers from various departments of Democritus University of Thrace, Aristotle University and the Institute of Engineering Seismology and Earthquake Engineering.
